Course Content
This programme, Middle Manager Experienced, is designed for anyone who is already in place as a manager and would like to evaluate whether they are operating at a high level.
You may wish to brush up and enhance some skills and develop new ones. The programme will take you through the key characteristics of an inspiring leader and effective manager as well as examine the strategies and actions they adopt.
The programme has been developed to help individuals assess their skills, identify what is missing and put in place plans to accelerate their progress.
We get you to reflect upon yourself, your organisation and your team’s requirements. We will objectively look at what is working well and what might need to improve.
Furthermore, we will be looking at and building upon your knowledge, understanding and appreciation of some of the wider elements of your roles and responsibilities and their impact on:
– Customer satisfaction
– Production capacity
– Financial contribution
– Instilling the right culture
– Succession planning
– Business development
– Resource management
– Culture
– Future-proofing
– Risk management
– Corporate and Social welfare
We will be looking at developing your softer skills:
– Effective communication
– Team development
– Team engagement
– Making plans
– Flexibility & adaptability
– Striving for success
– Problem-solving techniques
– Delegation
By the end of the course, you will have shared learnings with other experienced leaders and managers, as well as developing strategies and goals to help you create a 24 to 36-month plan to take you and your team to the next level.
There is no practical assessment for this course, but there is homework set, with review and feedback from the Tutor, Tom Yeung.
