Prerequisites
This course is for people who currently hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and need to renew it for another three years. Candidates will undertake a final assessment and, if successful, receive an FAIB approved certificate valid for three years.
A basic level of literacy is required.
Course Content
This First at Work Re-Qualification course is for people who currently hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and need to renew it for another three years. Candidates will undertake a final assessment and, if successful, receive an FAIB approved certificate valid for three years.
The course duration is two days and covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace and complies with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.
The course gives candidates the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies and is for nominated workplace first aiders or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to first aid.
