Course Content

This advanced course is designed for professionals who regularly work at height or are responsible for managing teams in high-risk environments. It provides in-depth training on the legal, practical and safety aspects of working at height, in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and the hierarchy of control measures. The course covers the correct selection, inspection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as advanced fall protection systems such as harnesses, lanyards, scaffolding, cherry pickers and scissor lifts. Participants will also learn safe climbing and descending techniques, emergency rescue procedures and how to develop and implement effective rescue plans. Emphasis is placed on real-world scenarios, communications of safety protocols and compliance with Health and Safety (HSE) requirements. Practical exercises and assessments ensure that learners are fully equipped to manage and perform work at height safely and competently.
