Prerequisites
Participants should have successfully completed the Level 2 Award in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Operation and Maintenance or have equivalent experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Course Content
This course builds on the knowledge and skills gained in the Level 2 course and provides participants with a deeper understanding of the repair and replacement of hybrid and electric vehicle systems. Participants will learn how to diagnose and repair complex faults in the electrical and electronic systems of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as how to replace high voltage components such as batteries and inverters. The course covers topics such as system configuration, network communication, and diagnostic procedures.
