Mental Health Awareness – Level 2

A basic level of Literacy is required for this course.
This regulated Mental Health Awareness – Level 2 course contains 10 units exploring what mental health is and looking at some categories of mental ill health including depression, eating disorders and bipolar disorder.
Assessment is by workbook for each unit with some time being set aside in class to discuss these. Each session is taught in class with activities and discussion as part of the taught experience. The course is delivered over 4 days, one a week. This enables the learner to complete work between sessions. No previous experience of mental health is required. However, discussion around experience or examples encountered is welcomed in a confidential space. On completion the learner will receive a Cache Level 2 in Mental Health Awareness.
There are no pre-determined dates for this course, it is available upon request and can only run with a minimum of 5 attendees booked on.
